These terms apply to annual utility gift packages purchased through Lion for Fam. By purchasing, you accept these terms. Updated 29 October 2026.
What you are purchasing
We facilitate utility payments for designated residential accounts in Ethiopia. We do not supply electricity, water or internet directly. Your checkout shows the included services and the total annual price, including our service fees. Coverage is designed for 12 months within the allowances below; it is not an unlimited utility plan.
Monthly allowances
- Electricity, when included: up to 500 kWh per month.
- Water, when included: up to 20,000 liters (20 m³) per month.
- Internet, when included: 5 Mbps service. Installation and new service setup are excluded and must be arranged with the provider.
Unused electricity or water allowances do not roll over. Excess usage reduces the following month’s allowance and sustained excess use can exhaust coverage before 12 months. For example, using 600 kWh leaves a 100 kWh deduction from the following month’s allocation.
Provider price changes
The package includes provider price increases up to 15%. Increases above 15% reduce subsequent months’ allocations and may shorten coverage.
Payment and fulfillment
Payment is processed through Cybersource Secure Acceptance using the configured Bank of Abyssinia merchant arrangement. A successful payment confirms your purchase. Our team in Ethiopia then reviews the account details and arranges utility settlement. Track a gift shows these as separate stages. We do not promise instant utility activation or uninterrupted provider service.
You must supply accurate recipient details and utility account numbers and have permission to provide them. Incorrect or incomplete details can delay fulfillment. Coverage is for existing eligible residential services.
Cancellations, refunds and service issues
Purchased packages cannot be canceled and are nonrefundable except as required by applicable law. If we cannot fulfill a package, we will contact you to discuss an alternative arrangement. No transfer to another household will be made without your agreement. Statutory consumer rights remain applicable.
Responsibility
Third-party utility interruptions and delays may occur. To the extent permitted by applicable law, our liability for direct loss is limited to the amount paid for the affected package, and we exclude indirect or consequential losses. These limits do not override rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, subject to mandatory rights that apply to your purchase. Updated terms apply to future purchases. Your existing package retains the services and price recorded at checkout.
Brand and contact
Lion for Fam is operated by Aspire Utopia Solutions. The lion celebration is symbolic and creates no stored credit, cryptocurrency or cash value. This service is independent of TikTok.
